About us...
Coppell Community Chorale (CCC) is a non-profit group of singers who perform under the
direction of Robert Chalwell. We are comprised of residents of Coppell and surrounding areas.
We present two major show weekends each year, in November and May. The Chorale has
performed folk music, pop, jazz, and sacred songs, show tunes, ballads, classical pieces, and
spirituals. Most selections have piano accompaniment, using SATB arrangements, joined by
drums, bass and guitar for the shows. Shows are highlighted with soloists and small ensembles
in addition to the chorus selections.
CCC's "Spotlight Night" in December provides the opportunity for members to show their stuff by
performing solos and ensembles that are completely of their own choosing.
In addition, we perform at various local venues throughout the year, including local retirement
homes, churches, and civic groups.
Coppell Community Chorale Mission: The mission of CCC is to promote a greater appreciation and enjoyment of quality music throughout the greater Coppell community.
